| Weeks 27-30 |
Claire truly amazes me every day! She seems to always be doing something new! I watch her and am in awe of her. She is so sweet, beautiful, and I love seeing her personality shine! She is a happy baby. She smiles a lot, but not all the time. She laughs a lot, but you have to know her and earn it :). She really is the best!
-Claire is in 6 month clothing and size 2 diapers. She eats a wide variety of pureed foods. She still is breastfed/given breastmilk in bottles.
-She pulls herself up to stand but is not very steady.
-She does not fall asleep on my chest as often; instead she falls asleep cradled in my arms.
-This month she really went through a mommy phase!
-She is stretching the time between eating and napping!
-She takes ~3, 1-2 hour naps a day.
-She reaches and lunges towards people and things that she wants.
-She is starting to get into the "crawling position."
-She babbles, "babababa, dadadada"
-She had her first cold and ear infection and it was the saddest thing :) Thank goodness for the nose frieda!
-She is quite the cuddler!
-She no longer sleeps well on the go! We have created a sleep snob! She sleeps in the car or in a quiet room with a fan and that is about it!
-She has started to hit my chest when she wants to nurse
-We began transitioning her out of the sleep sack.
-She is an awful sleeper. She wakes up every 2-3 hours. This mama is EXHAUSTED!
-She has started to clap but does not do it on demand.
-She rolls to get places (mainly to mommy)
-She smiles and laughs when you blow on her face
-She is very unsure of the hair dryer
-She loves her Sophie the Giraffe book
-She cries when I walk away
-She started to give big, slobbery, open-mouthed kisses!
-This month Claire visited a pumpkin patch with Mommy's family and then again with daddy's family.
-Claire was dedicated on October 18th.
-She visited her Auntie Christine downtown and spent a few minutes on the roof of a high rise.
-Claire went trick or treating at the mall in her giraffe costume
