Weeks 31-34
Baby girl is 8 months old, and man oh man have these past few months been SO fun!! She is changing, growing, learning, and doing SO much!
-Baby girl sleeps on her side every night, normally on her left side.
-She is still a bad sleeper. On a good night she is up 2-3 times, on a bad night 4-5. Mama is exhausted but I am a believer in nighttime parenting and a proud member of the no sleep club and if she needs extra cuddles then I will give them to her! But cutting it down to 1-2 wake ups wouldn't be the worst either.
-She thinks it is hilarious when you play peek-a-boo using her feet!
-She has 2 bottom teeth! She was so good and I did not even know she was teething until I felt them already popped through
-She waves
-she is a talkerrr!! babbling all day long!
-She sits with ease from being on her belly.
-She will play peek a book with a blanket( hold it over her face and pull it down)
-She rubs my face and arms when falling asleep
-She is transitioning to her crib and spent her first full night in her crib on November 8th.
-She drools- a lot!
-She reaches regularly for the things and people she wants.
-She says dadadada and mamamama.
-If I ask, "Where's dada?" She will find Sean.
-She claps all the time
-When sweet girl wakes up she does not cry. She rolls onto her belly, sits up, and looks around. Sometimes I do not realize she is awake until I look at the video monitor.
-This month I have noticed how much more purposeful everything she does is. She knows what she wants and goes for it. I love seeing her explore.
-Claire has become "shy." When meeting new people she will smile and lay her head on my shoulder.
-She does not have much stranger danger yet but you can definitely tell the people she knows well!
-Claire saw snow for the very first time! She loved it! She ate some and started cracking up!
-She pulls herself up on everything!!!
-Claire visited her Uncle Daniel and Aunt Julia at their apartment.
-She enjoyed a birthday party for Zac.
-Her auntie Coco and Auntie Christine came over for a visit.
-She watched daddy coach a couple basketball games.
-She went to Dave and Buster's for Auntie Em's birthday and LOVED all the lights and noise
-Claire celebrated her First Thanksgiving.
-She enjoyed Friendsgiving at home with our friends!
